Use these shear pins, also known as shear bolts, to connect the auger of a snow thrower to the machine's drive shaft. The pins are designed to break if the auger strikes a solid object, and the cotter pin will secure the shear pins in place. Shear bolts and pins will work in select models of Yard Man snow throwers and snow blowers.
